Shanghai, the largest city of China, is located on the east coast of China and the
gateway of the Yangtze River basin. For centuries Shanghai is a comprehensive industrial base
and important ports for China-international trade.

Yuyuan Garden is considered one of the most well-known garden in South China. Built in 16 centuries,
this 20,000 square meters garden has 30 fascinating scenes. The master piece of architecture in the
garden is Dianchun Hall.
Yuyuan Market is one of the famous markets for small commodities in China. It has more than 100
shops selling more than 25,000 kinds of goods.
Shanghai is now one of the booming commercial cities in China. It is the best shopping center in the nation.
The famous place for shopping must be the Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road which are both located at
west of Huagpu River. These two major streets (5 kilometers long each) are shopping heavens with
shopping malls, department stores, shops, and restaurants line up along the boulevards.
