Canada is located in the Northern North America, bordering the North Atlantic Ocean
and North Pacific Ocean, and north of the conterminous United States of America. With total land
area about 9,220,970 square kilometers, Canada is the second-largest country in the world (after Russia).

British Isles origin 28%, French origin 23%, other European 15%, Amerindian 2%, other, mostly Asian,
African, Arab 6%, and mixed background 26%. English and French are the two official languages.
About 25% of the population is French-speaking, with the greatest concentration in the Province of Quebec.
