Hilo and Kona

Hilo - City of Rainbows

Located on the east coast, Hilo is the largest city on the Hawaii Big Island. It has a population of 40,000. Hilo city mixes with modern and country buildings spread with hotels and restaurants. Hilo city is surrounded by snow mountain behind it and the ocean in front. Under tropical sunshine, sparkling snow mountain and shining ocean wave create a unique stunning view.

Hilo area have more rain than other parts of the Island. But when the rain blew away by wind, a rainbow often appeared in the blue sky. No wonder Hilo has a beautiful nickname - City of Rainbows.

Kona - Tourist hot spot
