You can reach Maui Island by airplane and cruises, and getting around Maui Island by
car, bus, shuttle bus and taxi.
Several major airlines - American Airline, Continental, Delta,
Northwest, TWA, and United Airlines - provide full services
from the United States mainland to Honolulu International Airport, Oahu Island. These airlines also provide further transfer
to Maui Island. In addition, United Airlines, American Airline, and Delta Airlines may also provide direct flights
from the United States mainland to Maui Island.
International Airlines, including Air Canada, Air New Zealand, British Airways, Swissair,
China Airlines, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Indonesia, and Philippine Airline, provide services to Honolulu International Airport, Oahu Island.
From Honolulu, you can further transfer to fly to Maui Island.
Flights from neighbor Isles airlines include Continental Airlines, Northwest,
Hawaiian Airlines, Aloha Airlines, Island Air, and Pacific Wings. There are also
small planes serving for inter-island passengers to Hawaii's resorts and community
destinations. Helicopter companies' services include direct helicopter transport
between the Hawaiian Islands.
Buses
You can easily get around Maui Island by new public transportation system,
Shuttle Bus, Car and Taxi. All major Car-Rental services, taxi, and airport shuttle
bus services are available at the Kahului Airport.
Maui has no public transportation systems in the past. In Summer 2002, the Maui County
Government approved and announced the New Maui Bus services and schedule operated by
a bus service company.
The new Public Transit System currently provides services between South, West
and Central Maui.

In addition, you can easily get around Maui Island by other Shuttle Bus, Car or Taxi. All major car rental services, limousine, taxi, and airport shuttle bus
