Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum
The Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum is situated in Puunene about 10 minutes from Kahului Airport. This museum
will take you back a century and show you the historical influence of sugarcane in the Islands. Video and photo displays
interactively illustrate the growth of the sugar industry in the past, the life of sugar plantations, and sugar
production process.
Bailey House Museum
Bailey House Museum, next to the Government Buildings at Main Street in Wailuku, is situated in the home of a former
missionary. In 1837 missionary Edward Bailey and his wife Caroline Bailey arrived Hawaii from Boston. After about
three years they came to Maui to teach at Wailuku Female Seminary.
Today, Maui Historical Society operates this museum to display ancient Hawaiian artifacts, tools, crafts, and
Mr. & Mrs. Bailey's home and their collections of paintings and other personal items.
Maui Ocean Center
Maui Ocean Center is one of the major attractions in Hawaii.
The aquariums of Maui Ocean Center present fascinating sea life from Pacific Ocean
surrounding the Hawaiian Islands.
Whale Center of the Pacific
Whale Center of the Pacific is located in the Whalers Village, Kaanapali Beach Resort. Featuring the
humpback whale, this museum interactively exhibits and displays natural history of
whales, memorabilia, and artifacts. Free admission. Open daily 9:30am - 10:00pm.
Wo Hing Temple Museum
Wo Hing Temple Museum is located in West Maui. It was built in 1912 when Chinese immigrants
arrived Maui. This building contains Chinese artifacts and now open to public.
