Performance Arts
Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) is Hawaii finest and most comprehensive visual and performing
arts complex. This $32 million arts and cultural facility has two theaters, art gallery, classrooms,
meeting spaces, etc. Since MACC opened its doors in 1994, it was the site of thousands of nightlife and culture activity events, including
hula dance, symphony, taiko drumming, ballet, Chinese acrobats, and domestic and international musical
performance.
Located at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, in Central Maui between Kahului Beach Road and
Ka‘ahumanu Avenue, off of Papa, the MACC Box Office is open Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

MACC tickets can also be purchased at ETM Ticket Machines located in select supermarkets throughout Hawaii,

Sunset Cruises
Dinner cruise is another favorite activity in Maui nightlife. Under tropical romantic sunset
and cruising along Maui's beautiful coastline, enjoy Hawaiian special delicious buffet, tropical drink,
live entertainment, hula shows, dancing and music. Cost: about $60.

Dinner Shows - Clubs and Bars
While enjoying Hawaiian delicious buffet, dessert and cocktail, you have opportunity to be
entertained by some world renowned illusionists in Maui's dinner and magic show, or to enjoy jazz,
rock or Hawaiian music performed in some friendly local bars and restaurants. Black Rock Illusions
Dinner and Magic Show, Ulalena in Maui Myth & Magic Theatre are some of the best Maui's nightlife
activities.

Ballroom Dance
Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association (HBDA) Central Maui Chapter promotes and
teaches ballroom dance every Monday starting from 7:00 PM at Wailuku Community Center. Some excellent
instructors lead ballroom dancers to engage in popular Latin or Standard dance, including Swing,
Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot and more.
The Aloha Ballroom Dance Academy organizes ballroom dance classes
by excellent instructors and volunteers every Wednesday starting about 7:00 PM at Kihei
Community Center of South Maui. Popular Latin or Standard ballroom dances including Waltz,
Foxtrot, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo, Swing have been taught by Aloha Ballroom Dance Academy.

Country Dance
Maui Paniolo Dance Association (MPDA) organizes and teaches country dance at Pukalani Community Center
(aka Tarares Community Center) every Thursday evening 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM and at Lahaina Cannery Mall every
Sunday evening 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Schedule may be changed).
Every week, excellent instructors lead beginners, intermediate and advanced country dancers
to engage in popular line dancing. Many dance couples also practise Two Step, East Coast Swing,
West Coast Swing, Cha Cha, and Waltz.
Beginners or advanced dancers, residents or vacationers, guest teachers from other cities are all
welcome to join weekly country dance activity organized by Maui Paniolo Dance Association.
