West Maui is the center of tourist business. From Kapalua to Kaanapali, miles of sandy beaches and array of luxury hotels resorts, oceanside cottages, and condominiums form an ideal destination for visitors.

You can find Hawaiian shirts, crafts and paintings from local artists in a lot of stores here.

Along the Front Street of Lahaina, you can find one of the world largest Banyan Tree which is one of the Lahaina and Maui's best-known landmarks. At the Wharf Cinema Center, many restaurants, surrounding by a nice environment, attract thousands of visitors including some resident celebrities.

Lahaina is also a major harbor in Maui for private yachts, cruise boats as well as ferry services to Lanai and Molokai islands.
