Molokai is the fifth largest of the eight major Hawaiian islands. Known as the Friendly Island, Molokai
is about 260 square miles with about 6900 population. Although it is just only 9 miles away from Maui,
Molokai is years apart from other major Hawaiian islands in terms of modern development.
However it provides visitors some recreation areas to explore this "Most Hawaiian Island".

Papaau Sate Park
Papaau State Park is located at the end of Hwy 470. There are Kalaupapa Lookout atop the world's largest
sea cliffs. From this more than 1,600 feet high Kalaupapa Lookout, you will have chance to overlook the
Kalaupapa Peninsula. This State Park provides campgrounds and picnic facilities.

Molokai Ranch Wildlife Conservation Park
This 350-acre Molokai Ranch Wildlife Conservation Park is located at the west end of the island.
It preserves a lot of animals migrated from Africa and Asia, including barbary sheep, wild turkeys,
zebra, giraffe and many other species.
Kamakou Preserve
Kamakou Preserve, the 2774-acre preserved in Kamakou mountain area, is home for more 250 endangered
plants and special birds that live only in Hawaii Islands.
