With nickname "Friendly Isle", Molokai Island has population about
6,800. Molokai has a large
population of Native Hawaiians. Residents here are very friendly and honest.
Unlike Oahu, Molokai is peaceful and quiet. Because less traffic, the road seems wide open just for

shopping malls or department stores but just small shops and humble peoples.

Molokai is a long slipper shape island. One day trip will take you from east to west by car. Of course it
has many country sites to be explore, such as rain forests and ancient fishponds at east side, Kalaupapa
lookout, the world's largest sea cliffs, and Molokai Ranch at west side.

Molokai does not have many nightlife activity but you may have opportunity to participate in local
festival night organized by local people. It is quite deferent from neighbor island Oahu which is

Kaunakakai Town
Situated on the middle of Molokai Island, Kaunakakai is little town with more Native Hawaiian
residents who are proud of their culture and history. The people of this small town enjoy quiet
and simple live style. It has no luxurious hotels or restaurants but just a few country-style eateries
and shops. It also has no colorful nightlife but Hawaiian dance and music.
